Barrier Laminate

Discover Flex-Pack’s barrier laminate, a multilayer film (from three to five layers) combining polyester, aluminum, and polyethylene to provide excellent protection against humidity, corrosion, and contamination. Ideal for maritime shipments or containers with sensitive products, it ensures a dry and stable internal environment thanks to hermetic sealing, vacuum application, and desiccant materials. Available in versions such as VCI, TNT, and ALU, and in sizes up to 10 meters.

Barrier Laminate Cover Pack ALU 9

Barrier film composed of PET 12 µm, aluminum 9 µm, black HD PE 80 µm, and two-component polyurethane adhesives. Thickness 105 µm (±5%), weight 122.4 g/m². Low permeability (WVTR < 0.31 g/m²/24 h; OTR 0.03 cm³/m²/24 h), with high mechanical and thermal resistance (-50 °C to +80 °C).

Barrier Laminate Cover Pack ALU12

Laminate with PET 12 µm, aluminum 12 µm, white PE 75 µm, and two-component polyurethane adhesives. Excellent tensile strength, weldability, and puncture resistance. Provides a complete barrier against oxygen and moisture; ideal for sensitive goods (industrial, electronic, food) with performance up to 12 months.

Cover Pack Barrier Laminate with VCI

3-layer laminate with VCI-activated inner layer: protects against moisture and corrosion. Ideal for machinery, electronic components, and equipment, suitable for maritime transport or long-term storage. Provides excellent protection when combined with desiccant salts.

Cover Pack Barrier Laminate with TNT

4-layer barrier laminate with non-woven fabric, tear-resistant, ideal for sea shipments or long-term storage. Provides long-lasting protection (up to 2 years with desiccant salts), non-toxic, perfect for machinery, electronics, and industrial equipment.

Barrier Laminate Cover Pack CL4

Multilayer barrier film (PET 12 µm + AL 8.5 µm + OPA 12 µm + PE 100 µm) — thickness 141.5 µm, 155.3 g/m². Excellent barrier properties (WVTR < 0.1 g/m²/24 h; OTR < 0.1 cm³/m²/24 h), high mechanical strength, stability from -50 °C to +80 °C.
