A success story: how the company was born
The Brescia-based company Flexpack, specialized in the production of flexible, protective, and anti-corrosive packaging, is actually composed of several companies.
The first was founded in 2008 by Andrea and his father to meet the needs of local entrepreneurs who complained about the lack of packaging materials and, above all, skilled labor in this field.
Both already experienced in the industrial packaging sector, they decided to start their own project. Initially, the work mainly involved providing labor: Andrea, his father, and two employees would go directly to clients and handle industrial packaging operations such as assembling wooden crates for exceptional maritime transport.
In 2011, the business grew and they launched the production of flexible packaging, designed to protect goods from humidity, salt, and corrosion, preserving the quality of packaged products.
Finally, in 2018, they acquired Silital, a company specialized in producing desiccant bags to protect goods from moisture.
Today, Flexpack employs around 100 people. The headquarters, located in Soncino (Cremona), covers over 6,000 square meters, split equally between outdoor space and covered warehouses.
The Covid-19 period did not slow the company’s growth — quite the opposite: there was no slowdown or decline, but rather a 20% increase in production.
How do we plan to invest in the future at Flexpack? We aim to focus on producing increasingly eco-sustainable packaging.
